The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently going to the Fernie two Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers for the community.

SASSA are going to be rendering companies for example new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, as well as the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency mentioned it is alarmed concerning the significant variety of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The goal of the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the higher variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This can be because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no entirely functional office focused on service the area every day. The assistance point developed for intervention ordeals a high influx of prospective beneficiaries, which makes it challenging to the office to attend to all people who pay a visit to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise far more assets to allow the servicing of all consumers and boost entry to Social Assistance expert services,” the agency said.
